Poultry Project

As of this post, we have had 14 chickens, but recently we realized this was not going to further us in raising chickens to help support 150 children. We are selling two hens to buy a rooster. (Yes, male chickens cost more than females here in Uganda.) This will allow us to do not only have eggs and manure, but it also will allow us to sell our chickens and chicks and replenish our flock.

A female adult hen here costs about $7-11 depending on the size while chicks are about $1.50.

If you desire to invest in our poultry let us know by contacting Bishop Woopo Silver on facebook.
